A groundbreaking study titled "Agonists for cytosolic bacterial receptor ALPK1 induce antitumour immunity" has recently been published in Nature, one of the world’s leading journals.

As a professional biotechnology service partner, Sailybio is honored to have provided high-quality human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) for this study, helping the research team make significant progress in exploring the antitumour mechanisms and applications of ALPK1 agonists.
This study is the first to systematically elucidate the mechanism by which agonists of the cytosolic bacterial receptor ALPK1 (such as ADP-Hep and its highly potent analog UDSP-Hep) activate dendritic cells, promote the proliferation and memory formation of CD8⁺ T cells, and, in synergy with immune checkpoint inhibitors, markedly inhibit the growth of multiple mouse tumours. During the study, the team used PBMC services provided by Sailybio to verify that ALPK1 agonists can also effectively induce the expression of key cytokines such as CXCL10 and CCL2 in human immune cells, laying a solid experimental foundation for subsequent translational research.

This collaboration once again reflects Sailybio’s professionalism and reliability in cell services. We will continue to empower domestic and international research teams with high-quality services, helping them achieve more breakthroughs in the life sciences and contribute to human health.
