Donors are consented for repeat collection, so we can re-supply the same individual weeks or months later, which holds the biological variable constant through assay development, qualification and lot bridging. Re-orders are placed by donor ID, and if a donor becomes unavailable – new medication, illness, withdrawn consent – we tell you before you build a plan around them.
