Donors are coded at the point of collection. The laboratory works with a donor ID, never a name, and the linking key stays with the collection site. What reaches you is demographics and screening results, not identifiers, so there is no protected health information in the material or in the dataset. Our consent language and data handling are written to meet GDPR expectations for de-identified biological material, and we sign data processing agreements where a client requires one.
