Collections are made at partner hospitals under protocols approved by the site's ethics committee, with written informed consent covering research use and, where applicable, commercial application. Donors are compensated for time and inconvenience, never for tissue. We follow the Declaration of Helsinki and Chinese ethical review requirements, and the consent and approval documents are available to your reviewers in redacted form, so your IRB or ethics group can review the actual paperwork rather than take our word for it.
