Under stimulation with varying concentrations of XYbeads Human CD3/CD28 T Cell Activation reagent, expanded Tregs markedly suppressed IFN-γ and IL-2 secretion by CD4+ T cells; at cell ratios of 1:2 or 1:5, expanded Tregs also markedly suppressed CD4+ T cell proliferation.

Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are a key factor in maintaining immune tolerance, and they can also actively regulate immune responses to foreign antigens and to antigen-related autologous alterations. On the basis of these functions, Tregs have recently emerged as potential therapeutic targets for a variety of diseases. Treg cell therapy, Treg modulators, and their interaction with the TCR have become active areas of innovative drug development.
SailyBio provides Treg expansion services (regulatory T cell expansion), supporting Treg induction, in vitro expansion, and Treg functional validation (suppression of CD4+ T cell IFN-γ/IL-2 secretion and of proliferation by CD4+ T cells). The resulting product can be used in immune tolerance therapy and Treg cell therapy, as well as in the development of immunomodulatory drugs.
